Course Description
The Grants Blueprint™ is a robust, end-to-end learning experience designed for professionals responsible for winning, managing, and reporting on public or private grant funds. Whether you’re part of a local government, nonprofit, school, or tribal agency, this course equips you with the practical knowledge needed to align program goals with grant compliance.
The course begins by helping learners understand how to identify aligned funding opportunities and write strong, mission-driven grant proposals. But the core focus lies in what happens after a grant is awarded—budgeting, implementation, cost tracking, and reporting. Learners will explore the federal Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), including allowable costs, indirect cost rates, and the importance of internal controls.
Through real-world scenarios, participants will learn how to build grant budgets that stand up to audits, manage changes without losing compliance, and document outcomes for funder accountability. By the end of the course, learners will have gained the knowledge and confidence to manage multi-year, multi-source grant portfolios responsibly—and will be better positioned for leadership roles in grants administration and public finance.
