Course Description
The Procurement Blueprint™ is the flagship course that introduces learners to the foundational
elements of the public procurement process. Built for both public professionals and private sector
participants, this course helps learners break through the complexity of government contracting and
understand how procurement decisions are made at local, state, and federal levels.
Participants begin by learning how to find and analyze procurement opportunities, decode solicitation
documents like RFPs and IFBs, and identify which contracts are right for their capabilities. From there,
the course walks through step-by-step instructions on how to prepare and submit compliant,
competitive bids, respond to clarifications, and avoid common disqualifications.
Learners will gain a clear understanding of public procurement regulations, ethical standards, and how
government buyers evaluate proposals. The course also dives into key certifications (such as DBE, HUB,
8a, WOSB) and how they can be leveraged for competitive advantage. By the end of the course, learners
